Strong lead times and demand for the iPhone Duo foldable smartphone from Apple Inc (AAPL  ) have one analyst seeing more upside for the stock after it recently hit all-time highs.

Bank of America Securities analyst Wamsi Mohan maintains a Buy rating on Apple stock with a price target of $370.

The Analyst Takeaways

Apple's highly anticipated iPhone Duo foldable smartphone could be changing the stock's narrative and leading to more upside.

Mohan notes the phone's lead time has now extended into 2027, with the Pro and Pro Max versions also stabilizing after concerns about weaker sales.

The analyst tracks a lead time of 50 days for the Duo from U.S. mobile carriers, 102 days for the Duo from Apple's website and inventory sold out for the launch day globally.

"As of Oct. 19, the global average ship time for the iPhone Duo stands at 82 days," Mohan said.

Want the Duo on Launch Day? Good Luck

The analyst also cited strong capital returns and the new phone models as helping Apple deepen its push into artificial intelligence.

Mohan calls Apple the "eventual winner on AI at the edge and optionality from new products/markets."

Tracking shows no in-store availability for the Duo on launch day, Oct. 23. This could be positive for initial demand tracking of the foldable smartphone.

For the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, lead times have declined by six days and three days, respectively, according to the analyst's tracking.

"The Week 6 data therefore points to continued normalization for the Pro, while Pro Max availability remains comparatively tighter."
