Netflix (NFLX  ) recently announced that it would begin streaming fitness content in a partnership with Nike (NKE  ), launching Nike Training Club classes. This new feature will contain a total of 30 exercise sessions, and will be accessible in various languages, for all fitness levels.

The first set of fitness classes launched on December 30 and the next set of it will come out sometime in 2023.

Some of the programs that will be featured in the Nike Training Club are: Kickstart Fitness with the Basics, Two Weeks to a Stronger Core, Fall in Love with Vinyasa, HIT & Strength with Tara, and Feel-Good Fitness. In doing so, Netflix will hope to "experiment with interactive content," according to Variety.

Prior to being available on Netflix, it was also available on Peloton, which has grown much more renowned ever since its inception in 2012. In terms of Nike's terms of agreement with Netflix, this will vary based upon how the workout programs do over the following year or two.

In creating this program and making it available on Netflix, it will permit users to have a variety of of choices, no matter what the level of fitness is for them on a personal level. These involve strength training, yoga, and intense workout routines that are instructed by Nike certified trainers and experts.

"It's not always easy to motivate yourself to exercise, but the option to feel the burn and then directly transition into one of your favorite shows does have a certain appeal," Nike stated in a blog post. "And now, that's exactly what you can do."

Before the Nike workout routines were accessible on Netflix, they were only available by connecting a phone to the television (through either an HDMI cable, with AirPlay (AAPL  ), or Chromecast (GOOGL  )). Offering this feature through Netflix will surely provide users with the luxury and convenience of being able to work out while not being required to use a phone screen. This will, in the end, help users to feel more accomplished and connected with their immediate surroundings.
