Uber Technologies Inc (UBER  ) penned a new deal with grocery chain Hy-Vee to offer on-demand and scheduled grocery delivery across the Midwest region in the U.S.

The partnership will boost Uber Eats' grocery selection across Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.

With the agreement, more than 260 Hy-Vee grocery and liquor storefronts will be available to shop through Uber and Uber Eats platforms.

Together we know we can make it easier than ever to have groceries and alcohol items delivered on-demand to doorsteps across the Midwest-and we're especially excited to be offering both consumers and couriers across the region the chance to attend one of the hottest kickoff games of the NFL season," said Christian Freese, Head of Grocery and New Verticals across the U.S. & Canada.

Since 2020, UBER is consistently expanding its grocery business in the U.S. via partnerships with retail giants.

This month, UBER reported second-quarter FY23 revenue growth of 14% year-on-year to $9.23 billion, slightly missing the consensus of $9.32 billion, and adjusted EPS of $0.02 beat the consensus loss of $(0.01).
