Here are the earnings estimates, what analysts are saying and key items to watch.
Boeing Q3 Earnings Estimates
Analysts expect Boeing to report third-quarter revenue of $23.84 billion, up from $23.27 billion last year, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

What Boeing Analysts Are Saying
Investors may be overlooking Boeing's military contracts, Bank of America Securities analyst Ronald Epstein said in a recent note.
The analyst reiterated a Buy rating with a price target of 4270.
Epstein highlighted the company's U.S. Air Force's F-47 and Navy's F/A-XX fighter programs.
"Boeing now holds the keys to the future of U.S. tactical aircraft," Epstein said.
The analyst said major military wins for peer companies led to stock gains, while Boeing stock has traded lower.
Here are other recent analyst ratings on Boeing stock and their price targets:
- Morgan Stanley: Maintained Equal-Weight rating, lowered price target from $250 to $225
- RBC Capital: Maintained Outperform rating, lowered price target from $265 to $235
- Bernstein: Maintained Outperform rating, lowered price target from $298 to $278
- TD Cowen: Maintained Buy rating, lowered price target from $250 to $240
Recent military contract wins and Boeing's backlog could be key areas to watch.
The company reported a record backlog of $715 billion in the second quarter, consisting of more than 6,200 commercial airplanes.
After several items that hurt trust in the company, Boeing looks to be firing on all cylinders and recently received FAA certification for the 737-10 MAX.
Recent quarterly results from aerospace supplier GE Aerospace could point to strength for the sector and companies like Boeing, due to strong commercial orders and defense contract wins.
