Binance's co-CEO Richard Teng reassured investors and users that the crypto exchange remains in strong financial health following the $6.3 billion hack.
He confirmed that losses would be covered through Binance's Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) and additional company resources already set aside.
They have already replenished 95% of affected tokens.
Teng attributed continued user confidence to Binance's consistent focus on customer protection.
"We will weather this. We'll come out stronger," Teng said.
Withdrawals Normalize After Initial Spike
Binance experienced a surge in withdrawals during the first 24 hours following the attack as users reacted to security concerns.
The co-CEO highlighted at a Hong Kong Fintech Week event that withdrawal activity had largely returned to normal after the exchange reopened withdrawals on Sunday.
He pointed to users' continued support as evidence of confidence in Binance's financial stability and ability to manage the crisis.
What's Next For Binance?
Binance is prioritizing liquidity restoration, customer fund protection and regulatory cooperation as it works to rebuild confidence following the record security breach.
Teg reiterated that the exchange has sufficient financial resources to absorb the losses without affecting users.
Binance also plans to strengthen its security infrastructure as artificial intelligence introduces new risks to trading and payments.
He emphasized that AI agents handling financial transactions require strict permissions, rigorous testing and stronger safeguards.
